Heartache for Royal family as the Queen Consort's brother-in law Simon Elliot dies

Camilla, the Queen Consort and her family face fresh new heartache after it was announced that her brother-in-law Simon Elliot has died. The businessman and landowner was married to Camilla’s younger sister Annabel for 50 years and were said to be close to the Royals.
Simon, 82 married Annabel, 72 in 1972 when she was 23 years old. The couple went on to have three children Alice, Catherine and Ben Elliot. Simon and Annabel honeymooned with King Charles and Camilla in 2005 at Balmoral.

Hide AdThe businessman reportedly accompanied the Queen Consort to the James Bond film premiere ‘No Time To Die’ and was also a guest at the late Queen's funeral lastSeptember. His funeral is believed to be scheduled for later this month.
This comes after Camilla’s cousin Charles Villiers was found dead in a London hotel last year. Charles and his estranged wife Emma Villiers were reportedly embroiled in a bitter divorce. The pair separated in 2014 and filed for divorce two years later.
Camilla is the eldest of three children born to Major Bruce Shand and wife Rosalind, along with her younger siblings Annabel Elliot and the late Mark Shand. Her brother travel writer Mark tragically passed away in 2014 after a fall caused a serious head injury in New York.
