She explained that cosmetic procedures turned from a “cute luxury to some kind of massive, painful neurological need” after suffering a severe brain aneurysm in 2001.
"There were periods in the super fame when I got Botox and filler and stuff, and then I had this massive stroke and a nine-day brain haemorrhage and I had to have over 300 shots of Botox and filler to make the one side of my face come up again,” Sharon said.
Sharon explained that the topic of beauty enhancements arised years later, when a younger man that she was dating asked if she uses Botox.
She responded: “It would probably be really good for your ego and mine if I did.”

The relationship between Stone and the unnamed younger man ended shortly after the botox discussion.
She added: "If you don’t see me for more than that, you’ll find your way to the exit."
Many have been speculating over who the mystery man could be, as Sharon was reportedly dating 26-year-old rapper RMR, for several months, but it is not known whether they are still together.
Sharon was married to film producer Michael Greenburg, from 1984 to 1987, but they divorced and she married journalist Phil Bronstein in 1998.
