BRITS tickets and advisory roles: Donations, gifts and second jobs registered by MPs this month

With restrictions still in place, many industries still facing disruption and concerns over the economic recovery, Covid is still a prominent issue in the UK.
Many MPs report being busier than they’ve ever been due to the pandemic, while others seem to have time to take on extra work outside parliament, often well-paid.
However, some MPs have given up their time to help out in the health sector, or donated outside earnings to charity and local institutions within their constituency.
Here are some of the second jobs, donations and gifts registered by MPs this month, according to the latest entry of the MPs register of interests.

Eight MPs, six Conservative and two Labour, were given a hospitality ticket to the BRIT Awards last month, worth between £800 and £900 each. They were Steve Brine, Alex Davies-Jones, Dehena Davison, Chris Heaton-Harris, Alicia Kearns, John Lamont, Paul Scully and Jo Stevens Photo: (Photo: Official Parliamentary portraits)
