Despite an arraignment taking place the day before, Donald Trump is no doubt in a celebratory mood today still - as today marks his 77th birthday. Will he celebrate it with family and friends, or will he continue on the campaign trail and potentially treat his supporters with more food, akin to his stunt at Versaille Cuban Restaurant in Miami after his hearing in a Miami courtroom?

We ask here at Peopleworld given that we’ve not seen Melania or Ivanka around the former President of the United States for more than a few months now since we last wrote - and there are some in the social media world asking “where’s Barron Trump?” Will Donald Trump even care if they are in attendance or wish him a Happy Birthday, considering his snub towards his own wife on her birthday back in April.

History has shown that Trump is capable of a private celebration with family and friends rather than a big soiree, however given that he is currently on the campaign trail to become the Republican nominee in the 2024 US Presidential election, our money is that he uses his Birthday as a means to foster more support while on that trail. He has allegedly already asked for donations even when he was outside the Miami courthouse yesterday - all the Save America once again…

Given however that some of the conditions of his release include banning him from travelling outside the United States, some of his political allies in the United Kingdom might be sending their well wishes to the former POTUS from the comfort of their own home - one member of the UK political spectrum who is currently undergoing his own inquiry into his conduct as Prime Minister is one Boris Johnson, who might pay his respects between throwing mud towards the Conservative Party.

So who from UK politics might take the time, jump on the phone or social media, and wish Donald Trump a happy 77th birthday, alongside good luck for his numerous court cases coming up in the United States?

Who from the UK political spectrum could wish Donald Trump a Happy Birthday today?

Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson, as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, had a notable relationship with Donald Trump during Trump's presidency. They first met in 2017 when Johnson was serving as the UK's Foreign Secretary. They had subsequent meetings during NATO summits and Trump's state visit to the UK in 2019.

Their interactions primarily focused on diplomatic discussions, including trade relations, defence cooperation, and international security. Their political relationship wasn’t always agreeable at times, with Boris Johnson vocal about his opposition to Trump regarding matters such as the Iran nuclear deal and climate change policies.

Nigel Farage

Nigel Farage has a close association with Donald Trump; he actively supported Trump's presidential campaign in 2016 and was one of the earliest UK politicians to endorse him. He campaigned alongside Trump during his rallies and even spoke at the 2016 Republican National Convention. Farage's support for Trump was rooted in shared anti-establishment and populist sentiments, as well as their mutual support for Brexit.

Farage's efforts to build closer ties between the UK and the US aligned with Trump's ‘America First’ ideology. While Farage did not hold an official government position, his influence and connections provided him with access to Trump and his administration. Farage's relationship with Trump was often characterised as friendly, with both men expressing mutual admiration and sharing similar policy stances on issues such as immigration and trade.

Steve Baker

Steve Baker, who played a significant role in advocating for Brexit and promoting a more conservative agenda within the Conservative Party, has expressed admiration for Trump's anti-establishment stance and his focus on issues such as national sovereignty and border control. Baker has spoken favourably about Trump's willingness to challenge the political status quo and his emphasis on putting the interests of his country first.

While Baker's support for Trump may not have been as overt or extensive as that of Nigel Farage or Boris Johnson, he has shared similar Eurosceptic and nationalist sentiments. Baker has argued for a more independent and assertive UK on the world stage, echoing some of the themes present in Trump's ‘America First’ ideology.

Ian Duncan Smith

Former leader of the Conservative Party, Iain Duncan Smith, also had a known relationship with Donald Trump. As a supporter of Brexit, Duncan Smith shared Trump's scepticism towards global trade agreements and the establishment. He visited Trump at the White House during his time as Conservative Party leader and held discussions on various topics, including trade, national security, and counter-terrorism efforts. Duncan Smith admired Trump's approach to politics and believed in strengthening the bilateral relationship between the UK and the US.

Liam Fox

Liam Fox was the former Secretary of State for International Trade, had interactions with Donald Trump regarding trade negotiations between the UK and the US. Following the Brexit referendum in 2016, Fox played a crucial role in exploring potential post-Brexit trade deals, including with the United States. He had several meetings and discussions with Trump and his administration, aiming to lay the groundwork for a future UK-US trade agreement

While the pair had a friendly relationship with one another stemming from Morgan’s appearances on Donald Trump’s popular television series “The Apprentice” and numerous interviews conducted between the two, their recent interactions indicate that perhaps Piers might snub Trump on his birthday.

The relationship turned sour during Trump’s time in office, and in March of this year, Piers Morgan tweeted with a photo of Trump and former PM Boris Johnson: "Tonight on @PiersUncensored - a tale of two sleaze-ravaged, truth-trashing blondes, both facing critical moments in their political careers. Tune in at 8pm."

Trump retaliated on Facebook, writing: "While I am fighting against Radical Left Lunatics, Persecutors, and unfair Prosecutors who want to destroy us all, Ron DeSanctimonious is not working for the people of Florida as he should be, he is too busy chatting with a Ratings Challenged TV Host from England, desperately trying to rescue his failing Campaign—But it’s my fault, I put him there!"

Piers Morgan, never one to let things lie, responded in due course writing “"BREAKING: Another President Trump statement re my DeSantis interview, this time lambasting him for wasting time chatting with a 'Ratings-Challenged TV host from England. That’s the same TV host from England who Trump’s been interviewed by over 40 times…"

So we don’t think any flowers or a fruit basket is being ordered for Trump today from Piers Morgan.
