Where’s Ivanka? Where’s Melania? Has the House of Trump imploded amidst Donald Trump’s legal battles?

Things go from bad to worse in the many legal battles that former President of the United States, Donald Trump, is currently facing. Not busy contending with 34 felony counts for improperly disclosing a payoff to adult film star Stormy Daniels alongside a civil case stemming from an alleged sexual assault on renowned columnist E. Jean Carroll, the subject of January 6 has once again risen its ugly head.

According to CNN, former vice president Mike Pence, who was Trump’s running mate during his run to office in 2016, will now be called to testify in a federal criminal investigation examining Trump’s and others’ actions after the 2020 election. Trump’s team had sought to block the inclusion of Pence, who some may remember had rallying calls of “Hang Mike Pence” by Trump supporters during the January 6 riots directed at him, but that appeal has been denied leaving the former VP to now give evidence about “direct communication” between the two during the riots.

But as it seems little by little the cult of personality that Trump has cultivated for himself, questions have been asked about where other family members are. While Donald Trump Jr. is part of the legal team that his father has drafted for his numerous lawsuits, his beloved (one word for it) Ivanka has instead decided to distance herself from her father and her brothers in yet another trial.

Then there is Melania Trump - or could that be Knauss? It seems awfully coincidental that Trump had forgotten about her twice during his legal proceedings; the first time would be when he neglected to thank her after his arraignment hearing, and while ranting about a litany of theories regarding his legal battles that we won’t dignify here with additional publicity, it turns out he neglected to wish his beloved wife a happy birthday - that was yesterday.

So where is Melania? Where is Ivanka? Where is Eric throughout all of this and is Barron ok? Peopleworld does our best to check in on the other members of the Trump family that have been conspicuous with both their absence and silence over the last few weeks. 

Where is Melania Trump?

The last time we saw Melania Trump was at a formal dinner in late March 2023, captured through Instagram. But she has been conspicuously absent from both Trump’s arraignment hearings in Manhattan and now remained silent throughout his latest legal battles. 

But we can assure you that Melania is alive and well, and being slightly whimsical through her social media channels. Melania posted a picture of the rain outside her window at what looks like Mar-E-Lago, in which she wrote “The beauty of our planet. Happy #earthday.” But the last time she posted anything regarding her husband would date back to last year on October 2 2022, which was simply a video of Trump during a rally while including the hashtags “#BeBest” and  “#FosteringTheFuture.”

We had a look if she is still following Donald Trump on Instagram - for now, she is. Perhaps she is just very busy raising Barron Trump, the youngest child of the Trump Dynasty, or perhaps she’s still involved behind the scenes as an honorary Chair of the Women’s Suffrage National Monument Foundation to help secure a monument on the National Mall of enduring inspiration for women and future female leaders. That also puts her in direct contact with Hillary Clinton, so maybe that would explain Trump’s somewhat cold shoulder publicly regarding her.

Where is Ivanka Trump?

As for Ivanka Trump, the “hot daughter” of Donald Trump by his own admission might we add has seemingly seen the ship taking on water and has decided to abandon it. She was at one stage part of the legal team in a fraud suit that would also represent Donald Jr. and Eric Trump but as Forbes reported overnight, that no longer is the case.

As reported by the publication, the office of New York Attorney General Letitia James filed a lawsuit in September alleging Donald Trump, his three eldest children, his real estate firm and its top executives inflated property values to obtain economic benefits, such as securing cheaper loans. James is asking the court to disgorge $250 million in financial benefits and restrict the defendants’ ability to conduct business in the state. The defendants dispute the allegations.

Don Jr. and Eric Trump quickly hired Clifford Robert and Michael Farina of Robert & Robert to represent them, according to court records submitted a week after the suit began. The following month, those same attorneys notified the court they were representing Ivanka Trump as well. However, by last week, Ivanka, Figel and Kellogg, withdrew from the case. And Bennet Moskowitz of Troutman Pepper informed the court that he was taking over as Ivanka’s counsel and that Robert and Farina, the attorneys Ivanka shared with her brothers, were no longer representing her. Moskowitz, who previously represented the estate of Jeffrey Epstein, is now Ivanka’s sole attorney on the case.

Could this break from her brothers indicate that perhaps Ivanka is distancing herself from both her father and older brother, known for their vitriolic rants on social media and constant claims of people acting against them? We know that she will not be part of Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential bid, stating in 2022 that “I do not plan to be involved in politics."
