The podcast will reveal the journalistic work that goes into the team’s investigations, and highlight some important stories that have gone uncovered in the wider media, which we believe you should know about.

The first episode, which is out now, features Harriet Clugston, Data & Investigations Editor for NationalWorld, talking about her major new investigation which looks at the outcomes of recorded rape, sexual assault and domestic abuse crimes by British police forces and specifically how many resulted in charges being brought, broken down by the ethnicity of the victim.

The results have revealed how charge rates, already abysmally low across sexualised and gendered violence, were even worse for non-white victims.
