Aldi must-have advent calendars 2026: I've tried the £19.99 beauty buy and found a festive cocktail treat

Aldi has unveiled its must-have advent calendars for 2026, with options for beauty fans, cocktail lovers and little ones who can't wait for Christmas. I've been trying out the supermarket's new Lacura beauty calendar, and there's also a cocktail countdown that looks like a brilliant way to get into the festive spirit throughout December.

Aldi's 12 Days of Lacura Advent Calendar

I've tried Aldi's new 12 Days of Lacura Advent Calendar £19.99 and comes in a chic-looking design. Inside, you'll find a mix of miniature and full-size Lacura beauty products, all cruelty-free and dermatologically tested.

The line-up includes Hydrogel Eye Pads, Liquid Blush and Hair Repair Oil, giving you a selection of products to add to your beauty routine. There's also a new Plumping Lip Gloss, which launches exclusively inside the calendar.

Overall, I think it's a nice little beauty treat if you fancy discovering some Lacura products or want an affordable gift for a beauty-loving friend. However, my one niggle is the length. I do think it could have been a 24-day calendar, as personally, I don't really feel like a 12-day countdown is quite a full advent calendar.

Infusionist Cocktail Advent Calendar

If beauty isn't your thing, Aldi's new Infusionist Cocktail Advent Calendar £12.99 could be just the ticket. It's packed with miniature cans of the supermarket's award-winning ready-to-pour cocktails, making it a fun option for anyone who enjoys a festive tipple.

The selection includes favourites such as The Infusionist Spicy Margarita, Espresso Martini and Passion Fruit Martini. There's also a sweet surprise in the form of chocolate truffles, adding an extra treat to the countdown.

Aldi's advent calendars for kids

Aldi hasn't forgotten the little ones, with three toy-filled options for children who would rather discover something to play with than beauty products or cocktails. The LEGO Advent Calendar costs £24.99, while the Mattel Barbie Advent Calendar and Mattel Hot Wheels Advent Calendar priced at £18.99 each.

I haven't tried these children's calendars, but they look like lovely options for adding a little extra excitement to the countdown. LEGO fans can look forward to a festive building surprise, while Barbie and Hot Wheels offer fun alternatives for children who love imaginative play and cars.
