After seeing Molly-Mae Hague try the Shark FacialPro on Instagram, I finally gave it a go and discovered a new favourite in my skincare routine.
I've tested my fair share of beauty gadgets over the years, and while I love trying the latest launches, I'll be honest: plenty of them end up tucked away in a drawer after a few weeks. So, when I finally got my hands on the Shark FacialPro Glow & DePuffi At-Home Hydrating Facial System £319.99 (was £339.98) plus save 20% with code BEAUTY.
I was hoping it would be something I would genuinely want to use rather than another beauty gadget that would eventually be forgotten about. I'd been dying to try it after seeing Molly-Mae Hague testing it out on Instagram, and I was intrigued by the promise of bringing a professional-style facial into my own bathroom.
I decided to give myself a proper at-home facial at the weekend, using the Shark FacialPro Glow Replenishment products alongside the different attachments to cleanse, extract and hydrate my skin. I was genuinely surprised by how much I liked the experience.
What I liked about the Shark FacialPro
The Shark FacialPro brings several facial steps together in one system, allowing you to cleanse, extract impurities and hydrate your skin using the different specialist tips. Rather than having to juggle lots of separate tools, everything is designed to work as part of one treatment.
I was particularly excited to try the pore-cleansing function. The system uses hydro-fuelled extractions to help clear impurities from pores, with the aim of reducing their appearance. This was one of the features that initially caught my attention, as I love the idea of achieving a really thorough cleanse at home without having to book a salon appointment.
I also really enjoyed the DePuffi attachment. After completing the deep-cleaning part of my facial, I applied a cream moisturiser and used the cooling function to finish my routine. The hot-and-cold contrast therapy is designed to help depuff the skin, and the device offers six temperature levels so you can choose the setting that suits you.
This was probably my favourite part of the whole experience. The DePuffi is designed to help create a more sculpted, lifted appearance. I used it after applying moisturiser, following the routine I had planned for my facial, and enjoyed how it rounded off the treatment.

What I didn't like about the Shark FacialPro
There wasn't much I disliked about my first experience, but the one thing that felt a little unusual was the order of the skincare routine. After a deep cleanse, I'm accustomed to applying serum and eye cream before finishing with moisturiser. With the FacialPro routine I followed, I applied a cream moisturiser after cleansing before using the cooling DePuffi attachment. It felt slightly strange to switch up the order I've been following for years.
Of course, this isn't a fault with the device. It's more a case of adjusting to a different approach to skincare, and I can see how the routine could become second nature with regular use.
Overall verdict
The Shark FacialPro Glow & DePuffi At-Home Hydrating Facial System has made a brilliant first impression on me. I'd been curious about it ever since seeing Molly-Mae Hague using it on Instagram, and after trying it for myself, I can understand why an at-home facial gadget like this is so appealing. I loved being able to combine cleansing, pore extractions and hydration in one treatment, followed by the refreshing cooling sensation of the DePuffi attachment.
If you enjoy investing in your skincare routine and love the idea of bringing a more intensive facial experience into your own home, the Shark FacialPro Glow & DePuffi is a beauty gadget worth considering this Chrismas plus customers can save 20% with code BEAUTY. I came away from my first use feeling genuinely impressed, and it's one of the rare beauty tools I've tried that I'm already looking forward to using again.
