Florence + The Machine have announced a new UK and European tour for 2022 in support of their upcoming new album, Dance Fever.

The indie rock band will perform nine dates in the UK, and one in the Republic of Ireland, in November 2022.

This is everything you need to know about the Dance Fever tour, including when tickets go on sale and how to get them.

Where will Florence + The Machine perform in the UK?

The band will begin the UK leg of their tour at Cardiff Motorpoint Arena on Wednesday 16 November 2022.

They will then travel to seven other venues across the country, including London’s 02 Arena and Birmingham’s Utilita Arena, before heading to ROI for a performance in Dublin at the end of the month.

Where else are Florence + The Machine playing?

Florence + The Machine will play one international date as part of the tour, the Accor Arena in Paris on Monday 14 November 2022.

The band will also perform three dates in Newcastle, Blackburn and London in April ahead of their tour, and in support of their new album.

The dates for these pre-tour shows are:

  • Saturday 16 April - King George’s Hall, Blackburn

What is the Florence + The Machine tour set list?

The set list for the tour will be taken from the band’s upcoming album, Dance Fever, which is their fifth studio album.

Dance Fever will be released on Friday 13 May 2022, and is available pre-order now.

Full details about the album, and therefore the set list, won’t be known until the album release, but singles taken from the album King, Heaven Is Here and My Love are available to listen to now.

On her official Instagram page, singer Florence Welch has described the album as “a fairytale in 14 songs”.

The band will be supported by Willie J Healey on all of their tour dates, and also Aziya on their London dates.

Who are Florence + The Machine?

Florence + The Machine, made up of vocalist Florence Welch, keyboardist Isabella Summers, guitarist Rob Ackroyd, harpist Tom Monger, first formed in London in 2007.

They have also had other musicians perform with them over the years.

In their 15 year history, the band have become famous for their  dramatic, eccentric performances, as well as Welch’s powerful vocals.

They have been nominated for six Grammy Awards including Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album, and their 2009 album Lungs won the Best British Album Brit award in 2010.

Among their most well-known songs are Dog Days Are Over, Rabbit Heart (Raise it Up) and Kiss With A Fist.
