It came just days after Pakistan took the lead in the series in a match which saw Liam Livingstone break England records with the fastest half century and century with the bat.

The series is all set up for the third and final T20 in the last of the white ball action before focus turns to the red ball Test series against India starting at Trent Bridge in August.
