Rajasthan Royals will take on Delhi Capitals without England star Ben Stokes after the all-rounder was ruled out of the 2021 IPL.

Stokes sustained a broken finger during the Royals’ opening match of the campaign against Punjab Kings when taking a catch to dismiss Chris Gayle.

The Royals slipped to a five-run defeat to the Kings with Stokes limited in his contributions after the incident, with further examinations revealing the extent of the injury.

Without him, the Royals take on the Capitals who have been dealt a blow after South African pace bowler Anrich Nortje tested positive for Covid.

The Capitals recorded a seven-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings in their opening match of the 2021 Indian Premier League season.
