England captain Harry Kane met his wife Kate Goodland long before he became a prolific goalscorer for club and country.

The three-time Golden Boot winner is leading the Three Lions at the 2022 Qatar World Cup and shares three children with his childhood sweetheart Kate, who will no doubt be in the crowd supporting him after she flew out to Doha to check out hotels earlier this year.

Kate, who holds a sports science degree, has been a prolific supporter of Harry’s for nearly two decades as they met before he entered the football world.

Harry and Kate first knew each other when they attended school in London’s Waltham Forest and were even pictured together in 2005 when the then-11-year-olds met David Beckham.

While they were not romantically linked in school, Harry and personal trainer Kate started dating in 2011 and were together when Harry made his career start for Tottenham four years later.

He told Esquire: “She’s seen my whole career. Of course, she finds it a little crazy. I think she’s even been in the papers a couple of times taking the dogs out.”

In addition to their NFL-inspired dogs Brady and Wilson, Kate and Harry started to build their family in January 2017 when they announced on Instagram that they had welcomed their first daughter Ivy via a water-birth.

Shortly after Ivy’s arrival in July 2017, a 23-year-old Harry popped the question to his ‘best friend’ while they were on holiday in the Bahamas and stated it was an emotional scene on his social media.

The pair have often shared their journey from kick off to the final whistle online as they kept their cumulative 13.5 million Instagram followers updated with the births of their second and third children - Vivienne Jane and Louis Harry Kane.

They even documented their 2019 wedding day with a beautiful black and white image, as the English striker saying: “Finally got to marry my best friend. I love you.”
