Football matches cancelled: Full list of games axed this weekend after Storm Goretti - including FA Cup and League Two
Football matches due to take place this weekend have been cancelled after Storm Goretti.
Temperatures across the United Kingdom have plummeted since the new year while Storm Goretti has brought 99mph winds and heavy snowfall. The cold weather chaos is continuing to impact football fixtures in England and Scotland.
A swathe of EFL matches were abandoned last weekend due to frozen pitches. The Premier League games were unaffected this week due to the undersoil heaters at all top-flight grounds.
However, lower league football and games in Scotland have been hit. The Scottish Premiership match between Livingston and St Mirren was called off on Tuesday with four other National League games succumbing to the elements.

Salford City vs Swindon Town tbecame the first FA Cup tie to be put on hold. Salford said: "Sheets have remained on the pitch over the last couple of weeks in anticipation of the forecasted sub-zero temperatures, and heat lamps have been moved around the pitch throughout the week to try and help thaw the pitch out.
"However despite the best efforts of the ground staff there are still parts of the pitch that are frozen, and the decision has been made early in conjunction with the FA and Swindon to prevent unnecessary disruption to travelling supporters."
Weather conditions are expected to improve moving forward but there could be more postponements due to the fallout of Storm Goretti. Several matches this weekend have already been cancelled.
