But one Arsenal wonderkid has written himself into the Premier League history books - and did so before he had even made his debut for the club. The Gunners were held to a 2-2 draw against Manchester City at the weekend, in a match that saw the visitors reduced to 10 men after Leandro Trossard was sent off.
While pundits are pouring over stats liked failed passes and Erling Haaland taking fewer touches per 90, it is 17-year-old Myles Lewis-Skelly who has been grabbing the headlines, for perhaps the most bizarre reason imaginable.

However, this yellow card has given the wonderkid a sensational record, and one that could potentially never be broken.
Lewis-Skelly is the first footballer in Premier League history to receive a yellow card before they have actually made their debut. At 17-years-old, if such a weird feat were to be repeated again he would likely still be the youngest.
Later in the game, Lewis-Skelly did make his debut, coming on in the 90th minute for a brief cameo appearance.
