At the age of 31, Partey is not getting any younger, but has nonetheless has been an integral cog in Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal machine this season. He has started all of their seven Premier League games thus far, scoring a single goal along the way - his defensive contributions have been vital to their success.
Everton look towards Santiago Castro to replace Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s contract at Everton is due to expire in the summer of 2025. In the event that they cannot agree to new terms with the former Sheffield United player, they will look to sign Santiago Castro from Bologna, according to a report from Corriere dello Sport [via Sport Witness].
However, Everton are not alone in their pursuit of the 20 year old - Aston Villa, Chelsea and Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the player. As such, the Toffees may have a fight on their hands if they wish to bring Castro on board in the event of Calvert-Lewin’s departure.
