Meanwhile, Manchester United were booed off at Old Trafford after they failed to beat Watford, while Aston Villa claimed their first win since January.

Speaking to BetVictor, the bookmaker’s brand ambassador, Harry Redknapp, has picked his Premier League Team of the Week.

The ex-Tottenham Hotspur manager has included a number of stars from his former club, as well as players from Newcastle United, Watford and more.

Here is Redknapp’s Team of the Week...

Redknapp described the goalkeeper as a ‘fine wine’ and credited him for his brilliant one-on-one save to deny Bruno Fernandes the opener at Old Trafford.

DEF - Matt Doherty, Craig Cathcart, Fabian Schar, Matt Targett

Matt Doherty claimed a goal and an assist as Tottenham Hotspur embarrassed Leeds United in their own back garden.

On the defender, Redknapp said: “When Doherty’s on form with the likes of Kane and Son, they cause any team problems”.

Both Cathcart and Schar claimed clean sheets this weekend for Watford and Newcastle respectively.

Redknapp claims the Hornets defender “could catch the eye” of top-half clubs in the table, while he praised Schar and claimed “he hasn’t been spoken about enough”.

Another Newcastle player in Redknapp’s TOTW is Matt Targett.

The Aston Villa loanee, who Redknapp described as “constant nuisance” for Brentford, has impressed at St. James’ Park since his January move.

MID - John McGinn, Joe Willock & Declan Rice

Redknapp admitted that McGinn is someone he loves watching after the midfielder helped Aston Villa to a big win over Brighton.

Joe Willock is yet another Toon addition to the team after scoring his second goal in as many games.

“He’s thriving under Eddie Howe and seems to suit this new system perfectly,” Redknapp said.

Finally, the 74-year-old completed his midfield trio with West Ham’s Declan Rice.

“Rice was at the heartbeat of eything,” Redknapp said, following the Hammers’ narrow win over Wolves.

FOR - Michael Olise, Dejan Kulusevski & Harry Kane

Kulusevski and Harry Kane are the second and third Tottenham players included after their 4-0 win over Leeds.

Kulusevski, who joined from Juventus in January, scored his second Spurs goal, while Kane picked up a goal and an assist.

Redknapp praised Kane’s partnership with Son, claiming they will “go down as one of the best in the Premier League era”, while he backed Kulusevski to help Tottenham improve their form for the remainder of the campaign.

Meanwhile, Michael Olise carried on his brilliant form as he picked up an assist for Crystal Palace.

“Olise was on top form against Burnley. He caused the visitor’s problems all afternoon,” Redknapp admitted.
