Here's the latest on if Ronaldo is likely to leave Juventus, join Messi at PSG or opt for a move to one of the Premier League big guns.

The 36 year old is entering the last year of his £30m a year deal with Juve, but the Italian giants want to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena.

Juve's dominance in Serie A came to an end, however, as Inter Milan - powered by Romelu Lukaku - claimed the title in the 2020/21 season.

Juve and Ronaldo finished fourth in the league and the Portugal forward took to Instagram at the end of the campaign to address the fans.

He said he had accomplished everything he had set out to achieve since arriving in Italy, leading to speculation around his future.

PSG already have an appealing attacking threat but reports linking Kylian Mbappe with a move to Real Madrid have stoked the flames.

If Mbappe leaves Paris then there would be a big hole to fill alongside Messi and Neymar in the attacking three... enter Cristiano Ronaldo.

There are plenty of hurdles to overcome - financial, among others - if the Hollywood dream became a reality.

Is Ronaldo heading for a Premier League return?

While there is talk Ronaldo is set to join Messi at PSG, a Premier League return hasn't been ruled out either.

There is speculation he could be the missing piece of the jigsaw in Manchester City's attack - and a better fit than Harry Kane.

Ronaldo's former club Manchester United are another name in the hat, seeking to sign their former flying winger.

Is Ronaldo on the move, or is this just part of the contract negotiation, time will tell.
