Tottenham 'consider' move for Ipswich ace as West Ham look at 'replacement' for under-fire Julen Lopetegui
Tottenham could add another striker to their ranks.
Another Premier League game week is now in the books. Liverpool retained their place at the top of the table with an impressive win over Chelsea on Sunday afternoon - what is happening in the rumour mill today?
Tottenham Hotspur are looking to bolster their options in the attacking third and have identified an Ipswich Town star to help this happen - meanwhile, West Ham United could replace Julen Lopetegui with a former Borussia Dortmund head coach.
Tottenham looking at ‘swoop’ for Liam Delap but face competition from Newcastle and Arsenal
There are fears at Tottenham that they may not have enough firepower in the striker department, following a slow start to the season from summer signing Dominic Solanke. As such, they may look to add a new striker to their ranks - and they have Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap in their sights.
This is according to a recent report from CaughtOffside, who mention that Newcastle United and bitter rivals Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the 21-year-old. The Tractor Boys are under no pressure to move Delap on - he is under contract at Portman Road until the summer of 2029.
West Ham could ‘replace’ Julen Lopetegui with ex-Dortmund coach Edin Terzic
Julen Lopetegui has not had an ideal start to life at West Ham - as things stand, the Irons have won two, drawn two and lost four of his first eight Premier League games in charge. While they are not planning to sack the ex-Real Madrid boss any time soon, they are looking at possible replacements.
According to a report from Florian Plettenberg [via GIVEMESPORT], West Ham could look to appoint ex-Borussia Dortmund head coach Edin Terzic in the event that Lopetegui leaves the club. Terzic has spent time at West Ham previously, when he was Slaven Bilic’s assistant manager during the Croatian’s stint as Hammers boss.
