A$AP Rocky reportedly wants to buy Tranmere Rovers after Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s Wrexham success
Rap megastar A$AP Rocky might be better off leaving his Sundress at home - and picking up partner Rihanna's Umbrella - if the rumours prove correct and he purchases a stake in English football club, Tranmere Rovers.
The star, real name Rakim Athelaston Mayers, has reportedly been looking on at the antics of Hollywood A listers Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney at Wrexham - and fancies a bit of English football league action for himself on Merseyside.

Hide AdFans of the club, which is currently owned by former Football Association chief Mark Palios, might well Praise The Lord should the multi-millionaire music star decide to take the plunge and invest - if the success of Wrexham is anything to go by.
And they will be hoping Rihanna trades in her some of her diamonds for silverware in the form of cups should the couple bring their partnership to Prenton Park.

The Sun reported the Good For You rapper is part of an investment group headed by celeb lawyer Joe Tacopina which is looking at purchasing an 80 per cent stake in The Rovers, said to be worth around £15 million. However, Palios and Tranmere have so far not commented on the rumours.
Elsewhere, NFL legend Tom Brady has jumped on the football bandwagon, with a stake in League One Birmingham City, while another former American football star - JJ Watt - is a minority owner of Burnley.

Tranmere fans will certainly be hoping Rihanna gets Love on the Brain and decides to Stay should she drop in at Prenton Park - though the ground's 16,000 capacity would be tiny compared to the stadiums the musical maestros could fill with their own shows.
However, the last time A$AP Rocky was due to appear in front of a crowd in the north of England, things didn't go well, with the star pulling out a scheduled performance at the 2016 Leeds Festival due to 'travel issues'.
Rihanna, however, did make a show at Liverpool’s ECHO Arena back in 2011, which might have given her the urge to tell her boyfriend to Shut Up and Drive and snap up the club Right Now.
They are both sure to get a Rude Boy welcome from the terraces - now, can we get a Show of Hands from the fans?
