Tottenham reveal price tag for in-demand star amid Liverpool and Manchester City interest
As previously reported by NationalWorld, Spurs full back Pedro Porro is one of the most wanted players in the league, with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City already showing interest. The 25-year-old joined the London club in the summer of 2023 after a six-month loan spell, and has impressed from the moment he stepped onto the pitch.
Porro was previously on Man City’s books, but left for Sporting CP in 2022 without playing a single minute of football. Manchester City are keen on a long-term replacement for Kyle Walker, who will be 35 years old by the end of this season; Liverpool are set to lose Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid and so want a player to immediately enter the starting XI.

Both clubs firmly believe the Spaniard’s style of play would allow him to seamlessly enter their teams.
According to Football Insider, Tottenham have valued their full back at £80m - but with such high interest from rival clubs, a bidding war could drive the price even higher. Could we see Porro move for more than £100m in January?
Crystal Palace evaluate Glasner replacements
Crystal Palace have suffered its worst ever start to a Premier League season under manager Oliver Glasner. It’s worth saying that statistically, Palace have been desperately unlucky not to score more goals - but the only stat that matters is the final scoreline, and on that front the club has failed to deliver.
Sat 18th in the Premier League table, having failed to win any of their first eight games, Glasner’s future at the helm has now come under threat. Glasner came to the club in February after Roy Hodgson was given the boot.

According to the Guardian, Palace executives are now looking at potential replacements - should they decide that Glasner’s time has come to an end. After the Eagles play Tottenham this coming weekend, they will come up against the likes of Wolves and Fulham, in games that could be crucial to his future.
The national paper claims that the three men at the top of the list are former Chelsea and Brighton manager Graham Potter, ex-Man United and Everton gaffer David Moyes, and Gareth Southgate, who recently resigned as England manager.
