FIFA 22 is set to drop imminently and fans are eager to see how their favourites rank up when assembling their FIFA Ultimate Team.

Wales reached the last 16 of EURO 2020 but international form only accounts for so much when it comes to FIFA ratings.

As he reaches the twilight years of his career, captain Gareth Bale has had a gradual decline when it comes to his rating.

After a move to Tottenham Hotspur last year, his rating dropped from 85 to 83 and now in the latest edition, he has dropped further to 82.

This is despite boasting the best goals per minutes radio in the Premier League last year, but that was partly down to his injury problems, which saw his playtime limited, meaning his goals skewered his statistics.

He still remains Wales’ best player and is one of only two who are rated either 80 or above, meaning that Welsh players will not be a priority when purchasing and trading players.

Centre midfielder Aaron Ramsey is in second on 80 and sees a drop of two after Juventus’ poor season which saw them finish fourth in Serie A.

Spurs left-back Ben Davies, like his former club teammate Bale, has suffered a decrease of one, falling to 79 as he competes with Sergio Reguilón for a starting berth in North London.

Leeds United’s newest recruit Dan James, who completed a reported £25m move to Elland Road is a non-mover, remaining with a 77.

After a Deadline Day move to Burnley from Swansea City, right-back Connor Roberts has shot up from 71 to 75, highlighting the importance of moving up to a higher division.

There has also been an increase of five for Cardiff City striker Kieffer Moore. Moore, who has gone from a lifeguard to scoring against Switzerland in the Euros, has gone from being rated 69 to 74. His increase can mainly be attributed to his 20 goals that he recorded for the Bluebirds in the last Championship campaign.

Ethan Ampadu has moved up from a low rating of 67 to 69 however after regularly featuring for Sheffield United last season and now playing for Venezia, there are some feelings that he has been undersold.

Rubin Colwill, who has a surprise call-up to the Euros squad has been given a lowly rating of 57, however should his performances improve and he continue to turn out for Cardiff, it is likely to improve.
