Which Premier League manager is favourite for the sack? Bookies odds revealed as West Ham and Spurs consider a change
Two Premier League managers are on the precipice of losing their jobs - if the bookies are to be believed.
The Premier League merry-go-round has seen plenty of managers sacrificed at the alter already this season; Wolves sacked Vitor Pereira, Graham Potter was let go by West Ham and Nottingham Forest have binned off both Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou.
More recently, Enzo Maresca quit as Chelsea manager and Ruben Amorim was sacked as Manchester United boss.
But the Premier League’s managerial bloodlust is relentless, and now two more gaffers find themselves on the chopping block after poor runs of form.

Such was the disappointment for Tottenham Hotspur after losing 3-2 to Bournemouth last night (January 7) that captain Cristian Romero hit out at the club’s higher-ups in a post on Instagram. His comments weren’t aimed at manager Thomas Frank, but with Spurs going without a win since December 9, questions are still being asked about his future.
Meanwhile, things at West Ham are going from bad to worse; as Wolves find form, there is a very real chance that the Hammers end up bottom of the league, having last won a game on November 8 in a 3-2 victory against Burnley.
Shane Orton, spokesperson for SportsCasting, said: “The Premier League sack race took another twist after Tottenham’s defeat at Bournemouth, which sparked ugly scenes between fans and players. Thomas Frank has now moved into clear second-favourite status to be dismissed, with Spurs once again unravelling as Bournemouth claimed their first win since October.
“Nuno Espirito Santo remains the clear favourite to lose his job, a position that will surprise few after collecting just 11 points from 16 games in charge. With West Ham increasingly mired in relegation trouble, pressure continues to build rapidly around the club.”
Here are the full odds for the next Premier League manager to be sacked:
Nuno Espirito Santo 1/3
Thomas Frank 4/1
Scott Parker 14/1
Arne Slot 20/1
