The action concludes at Augusta National Golf Course later today as the world’s best golfers continue their purist of the Green Jacket.

The 2022 edition of The Masters is nearing its conclusion at Augusta National Golf Course, with the eyes of the golfing world firmly fixed on Georgia.

Tiger Woods has been grabbing the headlines internationally, with the five time winner making an incredible comeback to participate after being injured in a serious car accident last year.

Meanwhile, Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy needs a Green Jacket win in order to join the elite few who have won a Career Grand Slam.

Both players made the cut to keep their hopes of glory alive, but it’s World Number One Scottie Scheffler who currently holds a three stroke lead at the top of the leaderboard.

Scheffler takes a three stroke lead into the final round at Augusta National with Australia’s Cam Smith his nearest challenger ahead of play getting back underway.

However, the current world number one had the chance to all but end the competition as a spectacle yesterday as he commanded a six stroke lead at one point.

He had been making light work of the course at Augusta National as his fellow golfers struggled with the elements and traditionally difficult pin positions but it all caught up with him coming down the back nine.

A score of 71 for day three is still incredibly impressive but carding four bogeys in the final seven holes has ensured it will be a thrilling end to the contest for spectators and those watching from home.
