The youngest son of former boxing champion Chris Eubank Snr has been accused of raping a 16-year-old girl near Brighton Pier two years ago.

Lewes Crown Court has heard that Joseph Eubank, 27, dragged a teenage girl along a pebble beach before raping her near the pier on July 16, 2022. Giving evidence at court on Monday (September 23), the alleged victim said she had been aggressively grabbed and forced along the beach.

The court heard that the girl had been out celebrating a friend's birthday when she became separated from her group. She described herself as "very drunk" and said that Eubank had helped her up after she fell multiple times before sitting down beside her.

However, Eubank is then alleged to have dragged her down the beach, telling her they were "going to look at the moon." The girl reported to police that she was "aggressively grabbed" by the wrist and led across the beach, where she was then forced to have sex.

Eubank has admitted engaging in sexual activity with the girl but maintains that it was consensual. He faces two counts of rape, both of which he denies. The trial remains ongoing.
