Despite earning £49,000 a week at Dortmund, the footballer apparently still needs his mum to make his bed

Jude Bellingham may only be 19 years old, but surely he is old enough to make his own bed? Well, apparently not, if reports are to be believed.

He may have scored England’s first goal of the tournament against Iran, but that doesn’t mean he is immune from his teammates taking the mick out of him.

Jordan Henderson is the player responsible for ribbing Jude, but it was Everton and England defender Conor Coady who broke the news about their interaction on England’s YouTube Channel. “We are talking about Jude Bellingham here, one of the best players in the world, and Hendo sat up at dinner and went ‘What?’ and Jude went ‘Yeah, my mum makes my bed. So Hendo was bashing and bashing him.”

Despite Jordan jesting with Jude about his apparent ‘lack of making the bed skills, he is the player who has been providing Belllingham with the most support. “He (Henderson) looks after Jude like there is no tomorrow,” Coady went on to say. “Jude is a young lad, sometimes we forget that because he is so mature and a fantastic footballer.”

It would seem that this ‘jovial’ ribbing of Jude by Jordan might hand Liverpool the advantage if Jude decides to switch teams.

Although Manchester City and Real Madrid are reportedly both interested in signing Jude, it is Jordan’s close relationship with Jude that might swing things in Liverpool’s favour.

Now back to Jordan and his mum making his bed…

If the rumours are to be believed and Jordan’s mum Denise does make his bed, it is safe to assume that the pair are very close. “One minute you’re a Kings Norton District Cup Year 7 winner and the next minute you’re a DFB-Pokal Champion,” she wrote on Twitter after his club Borussia Dortmund won the cup.

I am sure that she is incredibly proud of Jordan after netting England’s first goal in the World Cup tournament. She has now just got to get him brushing up on his bed making skills! Maybe Jordan Henderson could give him a hand in the meantime?
