The 2022 Super Bowl is taking place in California this year and Stan Kroenke will be hoping his team can reach the season finale.

Kroenke became an owner of the NFL side in 1995, when he helped Georgia Frontiere move the Rams from Anaheim to St. Louis by purchasing a 30 per cent share of the team, before he took full ownership in 2010.

In 2016, it was confirmed that the Rams would relocate back to Los Angeles, where they would compete in Kroenke’s Inglewood Stadium - where the 2022 Super Bowl will be held.

Kroenke is one of the richest owners in the NFL and will be hopeful of success with the LA Rams as they look for a Super Bowl victory on home turf.

According to Forbes, Stan Kroenke is the 70th richest man in the world with an estimated net worth of $10.7 billion - just less than £8 billion.

The 74-year-old is a real estate and sports mogul - owning some 60 million square feet of real estate.

His sports empire includes ownership of the Los Angeles Rams, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rapids and Premier League’s Arsenal FC.

He is married to Walmart heiress Ann Walton Kroenke, who is also a billionaire.
