Novak Djokovic has returned to the court and is participating in this year’s Paris Masters ATP tournament.
The Serbian took a short break from tennis following his shock straight set defeat to Daniil Medvedev in the final. Djokovic was one win away from being crowned as the “Greatest of All Time” and the day he would join Rod Laver as the only men in Open era history to have won all Grand Slam titles in one year.

The 34-year-old number one in the world is one of four men to have won both Parisian tournaments: the French Open and Paris Masters. Ilie Nastase, Andre Agassi and Roger Federer make up the other three.
Djokovic is the only player to date to have successfully defended his title in Paris - a feat which he achieved from 2013-2015.
The Rolex Paris Masters was first held in 1969 and is part of the ATP Tour Masters 1000.
