The 2022 Six Nations Championship is back this weekend after the second and last of two bye-weeks, and the action gets underway with this year’s only Friday night fixture as Wales host France.

Wayne Pivac’s side are in for a tough test as Les Bleus continue their charge towards a famous Grand Slam victory following their wins over Italy, Ireland and Scotland.

The hosts go into the match on the back of a sound performances which ultimately ended in a narrow defeat to England at Twickenham last time out.

Wales v France Six Nations 2022 date and kick off time

Wales v France is the first of three Round Four matches and kick off the penultimate weekend of action at 20:00 UK time on February, March 11.

The Principality Stadium in Cardiff, which hosts all of Wales’ home rugby internationals, will be the venue for the fixture.

Friday night games are a popular part of the Six Nations calendar, with at least one game usually being chosen each tournament and it’s this eye-catching clash that is being given the treatment in 2022.

Both teams have already been named ahead of the match.

Wales make four changes from the team that lost 23-19 to England in the previous round, as flanker Josh Navidi makes his comeback from injury to play his first international of 2022.

Gareth Thomas, Seb Davies and Jonathan Davies also come in to the lineup.

Meanwhile, France make just one change to the team that beat Scotland 36-17 in Edinburgh, and it’s an enforced one as Gabin Villière returns to replace Damian Penaud on the wing.

France are heavy favourites to win the match and start at 1/5, while Wales are 7/2 outsiders.

The hosts can be backed at even money with a +10 point handicap and France’s Gabin Villiere is the favourite to score the first try at 8/1.
