Tyson Fury comeback fight: British boxer's return confirmed against Arslanbek Makhmudov - despite announcing his retirement
Tyson Fury's comeback fight has officially been announced - despite the boxer announcing his retirement last January.
The former two-time heavyweight world champion will take on Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11. The 'Gypsy King' announced his retirement last January, just weeks after losing to Oleksandr Usyk for a second time.
However, the 37-year-old seemingly got the itch to make a competitive return to the ring after performing a sensational U-turn just six months later. After weeks of speculation, the Brit's return date and opponent has finally been revealed.
The Russian Makhmudov will welcome the 37-year-old British boxing icon back to the ring. Their heavyweight showdown will stream live on Netflix at no extra cost.

History is set to be made as the event will be the streaming platform's first-ever live event broadcast from the United Kingdom. The Ring are expected to spearhead promotion for the contest - with a set venue and undercard scheduled to be announced in the coming weeks.
Fury said: “Excited to be back. Heart’s always been and always will be in boxing. Someone go tell the king that the ace is back!” While Makhmudov added: “I am thrilled about the opportunity. I’m coming to deliver a War. Tyson Fury has been a big champion. I will be more ready than ever to leave with a massive W.”
