Liverpool striker breaks Premier League record - but who is Mo Salah wife Magi Salah?

Liverpool football club celebrated a seven-nil win against Manchester United on Sunday (6 March) with Mo Salah scoring two of the goals. The Liverpool player broke Robbie Fowler’s record as the top goal scorer for the Premier League team with 129 goals scored.

We take a closer look at the football player’s wife Magi Salah after she prefers to shun the WAG lifestyle for a quieter family life.

Mo, 30, has been married to his wife Magi for ten years. The couple have known each other since school and started dating when they were teenagers. They are from the Egyptian village Basion Gharbia and have two daughters together Kayyan and Makka.

Makka was born in London in 2014 when Mo was playing for Chelsea football club whilst Kayyan a few tears later in 2020.

The couple are said to be devout Muslims; Magi has never been photographed without her hijab on and always dresses modestly. Her maiden name was Sadiq and she has a twin sister named Mohab and two other sisters, Mahy and Miram. Her parents were teachers and the family lived in a small town together.

The couple is known to be very charitable and like to give back to people, especially from their hometown. The family travels back every Ramadan to give back to the villagers.

Compared to other ‘Wags’ Mo’s wife Magi stays away from the spotlight and isn’t on social media. Although she makes some appearances on her husband’s Instagram posts Magi prefers a private life.
