It took Mead just five minutes before netting her first goal and held a 3-0 lead after 25 minutes.
Ellen White’s goal brought up her 50th goal for England and she moved back into second place in the all-time leading goal scorers for England. Harry Kane is now third and both will compete to reach Wayne Rooney’s tally of 53 in their respective upcoming tournaments.
The Lionesses manager, Sarina Wiegman, spoke to ITV Sport after the match saying: “We played against an opponent that, compared to us, isn’t great. But we have to make the game and speed up the game and that’s what we tried to do.

“I think there has been a lot of progress. The way we want to play really comes across. The connection today, you could see compared to the first game in September.”
