It comes after three people died due to being swept into the sea in Tenerife. Two men, one aged 35, and a woman aged 55 were killed at a complex of natural pools on the Los Gigantes cliffs in the north-west of the island, officials on the Spanish island said.

Emergency responders said the victims had been surprised by a wave which knocked them into the water. Another two people also got into difficulties but managed to reach safety without help. The incident occurred in November last year.
