Eurostar summer sale: Tickets for just £35 to five destinations - Paris, Brussels, Lille, Rotterdam and Amsterdam
Globe trotters have the chance of heading to the continent for just £35 as Eurostar announces their summer sale.
As the UK basks in some rare April sunshine, thoughts might already be turning to holiday season and for those on a budget, some good news landed today. Globe trotters could see themselves heading to the continent for just £35 as Eurostar has announced its summer sale offering the discounted price on five European destinations.
The news comes at a time when train travel is making a comeback - whether travellers are looking for a touch of nostalgia, want greener options or simply want some airport-free calm, travel company Explore Worldwide has said an increasing number of their customers are choosing epic rail journeys over short haul flights.
The travel company reported a 25% year-on-year increase in rail journey bookings in 2026, with a 77% spike in the last three months alone – suggesting a surge for the summer. Holiday makers are apparently opting to make the journey part of the adventure, enjoying slower paced, more scenic travel.

Eurostar £35 sale
Five destinations are included in the sale which could see people heading for Paris, Brussels, Lille, Rotterdam and Amsterdam for the discounted price. The offer, which is subject to availability, runs until April 13 for travel on specific days between April 22 to July 8 - you can see the days not included listed on the Eurostar website.
If those dates don't suit you, there are other ways to get discounted tickets. Eurostar say booking your trip well in advance "gives you the best chance to nab a low-cost fare".
If you can be flexible with your travel plans, you can also save up to 50% off the price of your ticket with Eurostar Snap. Just pick your travel dates and timeslot, invite up to three friends and make your booking - Eurostar will then send train times at least 48 hours before travel.
The cheapest Eurostar tickets are usually for trains on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so if you can travel on those days, you can make a saving that way too. And it's not just the fares that are cheap on those days - the hotels are cheaper too.
