Piccadilly Line closed: No service between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge after 'significant leaf fall'

There is no Tube service between two stations after “significant leaf fall”.

The Piccadilly Line will not be stopping at two stations today. Transport for London (TfL) said: “No service between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge all day to prevent damage to train wheels caused by expected significant leaf fall.

“Please use the Metropolitan line to complete your journey. GOOD SERVICE on the rest of the line.”

Elsewhere there are minor delays on the Central Line. TfL adds: “Minor delays between North Acton and West Ruislip, between Leytonstone and Hainault via Newbury Park due to train cancellations.

“GOOD SERVICE on the rest of the line.”
