It’s been 10 years since Prince William married Catherine Middleton, and there has been no shortage of drama surrounding the royals since.
From Prince Andrew’s links to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal to Harry and Meghan’s incendiary interview with Oprah, the royal family have made the headlines many times in the past decade, while William and Kate have managed to stay more or less out of the limelight.
Here we look back at the most shocking royal scandals of the past decade as the future king and queen celebrate their 10th anniversary.

9. 2020-2021: Journalist Martin Bashir is accused of tricking Princess Diana into her 1995 Panorama interview - no criminal investigation ensues.
The BBC said it would hold a full independent investigation into how Bashir obtained his interview with Princess Diana in 1995, as her brother claimed Bashir made false claims about the Royals in order to gain access to Diana. Tim Davie, the BBC’s director general, said at the time, “The BBC is taking this very seriously and we want to get to the truth. We are in the process of commissioning a robust and independent investigation.” Earl Spencer’s claims included that Bashir had mocked up bank statements he alleged belonged to members of the royal family which showed they had been receiving payment from the press for leaked information. Bashir was also investigated by the Metropolitan police, but no criminal charges were upheld. Photo: BBC

10. 2021: Meghan and Harry take part in an Oprah Winfrey interview, claiming a royal family member made racist remarks about baby Archie, that he isn’t protected by royal security and that Harry is no longer in touch with William or Charles.
