Virtual audience members have also been getting involved in the fun over the course of the series, including one over-excited contestant who whipped off her wig, while another cheekily pretended to flash Ant and Dec after winning a holiday.

And the fun is set to continue for the final installment of the series - here’s what is in store.

Who will star in the final episode?

Comedian and The Masked Singer panellist Mo Gilligian will be appearing in the guest announcer booth on tonight’s show, while Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah will become Ant and Dec’s latest victim in I’m a Celebrity… Get Out of Me Ear.

This segment of the show sees celebrities agree to say whatever Ant and Dec tell them via an earpiece, and is one of the show’s most popular segments.

Sir Mo will be put into an incredibly uncomfortable situation when the Olympic champion will interview some potential nannies.

While showing the candidates his children’s bathroom, he’s shocked to find someone in there.

Fellow presenter Stephen Mulhern will also be on hand for the climax of Ant v Dec: Go for Gold, in which the duo compete head to head in a series of unusual challenges.

The comedy serial Double Trouble will draw to an epic conclusion tonight, while the programme will go out with a bang with its final End of the Show Show.

This week’s guest performance will be brought by Britain’s Got Talent winner Jon Courtenay.

The singer, pianist and all-round entertainer won the most recent series of ITV’s talent competition and went on to secure a much-coveted place at the Royal Variety Performance.

Earlier in the series, viewers have enjoyed performances from Gary Barlow, Rag’n’Bone Man and McFly.

After the final episode of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, fans will have a long wait before the presenting duo return to TV screens.

The pair will no longer be appearing on Britain’s Got Talent as this year’s show has been cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic.

As such, viewers will have to wait until I'm A Celebrity airs in the autumn again, with filming expected to return to Australia.
