WWE Money In the Bank 2021: Main event results, winners, full match card and highlights as John Cena returns

WWE' s Money in the Bank pay per view had a dramatic ending, with the return of superstar John Cena to the ring.

Cena crashed the party of Roman Reigns who had just beaten Edge to retain his Universal Championship on Sunday night.

The Texas crowd roared as Cena's music rang round the Dickies Arena - signalling his return to WWE after 15 months away.

Cena performed for several years in Vince McMahon's company before concentrating on his Hollywood commitments.

Now it appears the 44 year old is back in the WWE with Reigns in his sights - and a potential Summerslam match in the offing.

Who won Money in the Bank 2021?

With the exception of Wrestlemania 37 in April 2021, Money in the Bank was the first WWE main event to have tickets sold and fans in the arena.

Seven matches were contested, including wins for Nikki ASH and Big E in Money in the Bank Ladder Matches on the night.

An absolute brawl broke out in the men's Money in the Bank match which saw Big E deliver the Big Ending on Seth Rollins.

Rollins seemed ready to grab the briefcase before Big E caught him, climbed the ladder himself and claimed the briefcase.

It was another fast start in the women's Money in the Bank match, which saw a trio of ladders set up in the centre of the ring.

Asuka, Tamina, Liv Morgan, Naomi, Zelina Vega and Natalya all battled it out but Nikki ASH climbed over everyone to clinch the briefcase.
