Who was the Masked Dancer? Zoe Ball and Christopher Dean revealed as Llama and Beagle - but who is left in the show?

Zoe Ball and Christopher Dean became the latest celebrities to be unmasked on ITV’s The Masked Dancer.

The pair were both unmasked in a double elimination during Thursday’s (3 June) episode of the ITV show, with Ball being revealed as the identity behind Llama and Dean being the face behind Beagle.

David Walliams – who was a guest on the show – was the only member of the celebrity panel to correctly guess broadcaster Ball’s identity, with none of the panellists successfully identifying ice skater Dean.

‘It’s been such a laugh’

The Masked Dancer is a spin-off from hit series The Masked Singer, and sees celebrities performing routines disguised in elaborate costumes while the panel of Jonathan Ross, Oti Mabuse, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan try to guess their identities.

Diversity star Jordan Banjo was unmasked as Viper during the first show of the series, with Louise Redknapp being identified as Flamingo.

Burlesque star Dita Von Teese was revealed as Beetroot during the third episode of the show, with Michael ‘Eddie the Eagle’ Edwards unmasked as the identity behind the Rubber Chicken on the fourth episode of the show.

After being unmasked, Ball said the programme was “crackers”.

She added: “You’ve got a massive, huge head, this huge nose and I’m wearing breeches, which are not desperately flattering, but I have had so much fun.

“It’s been such a laugh, I had such fun trotting about and anyone who’s thinking of doing it, do it.”

Dean said appearing on the programme had been “great fun”.

He added: “It’s nice to finally be able to breathe again.

“I’m getting on a bit now and new challenges are always nice to take on. I’m 63 this year.”

“Thank you for tonight because my knees are starting to give up,” he added.

Who is left in the show?

Squirrel, Carwash, Frog, Scarecrow, Zip and Knickerbocker Glory remain in the competition.

When is the finale on?

The finale will air on Saturday 5 June on ITV at 7.30pm.

The finalists will dance and the top two will dance a second time, the winner will then be chosen by the judges and will reveal their true identity.
