16 & Pregnant star Autumn Crittendon’s cause of death revealed, she passed away at the age of 27
Autumn Crittendon, who was best known for appearing in the MTV show 16 & Pregnant, was found unresponsive at her home in Henrico County, Virginia by her stepfather on July 20, 2024. Although paramedics attempted to revive Autumn Crittendon with CPR, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Autumn Crittendon’s sister Misty announced her death in a statement which was subsequently deleted. The statement read: “To my dearest baby sister, my twin, my rock, my babies mother, my go to, my world, the only one who got me and most of my childhood trauma, who endured it all with me, my Arnold. You were robbed of your life at such a tender age. You left before anyone could tell you goodbye.

Hide AdAutumn Crittendon appeared on season 5 of MTV’s 16 & Pregnant and the show chronicled her giving birth to son Drake, Autumn has three other children. The fifth season of MTV’s 16 & Pregnant was in 2014 and Autumn’s oldest son Drake is now 10 years old.
Autumn has another son called Luke and a daughter named Abigail.
What is Autumn Crittendon’s cause of death?
TMZ has reported that “According to the Virginia Department of Health, the late reality star's official cause of death was toxicity from fentanyl and para-fluorofentanyl ... an illicit synthetic opioid similar to fentanyl.
“The agency lists Autumn's manner of death as accidental.”
Autumn Crittendon’s sister Misty recently updated her profile picture on Facebook to an image of the sisters holding their babies up in the air and said: “Growing up, it was always just the two of us. We did it all together, even becoming mothers. Then we raised our babies together and they then did everything together. We miss you so much, beautiful. I love you more than you’ve ever known.”
