Back To The Future star Crispin Glover sued by ex-girlfriend over alleged battery and fraud as he brands claims 'baseless'

Back To The Future star Crispin Glover has been accused of battery, fraud, and wrongful eviction by his ex-girlfriend in a bombshell new lawsuit.

The actor, 61, is being sued by a former partner and is accused of battery, fraud, wrongful eviction, malicious prosecution, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, according to People Magazine.

The lawsuit also claimed that Glover also violated California’s Bane Act, which forbids people from interfering with a person's constitutional rights by force or threat of violence.

The complainant, who has been anonymously identified as ‘Jane Doe’ in the document, alleges that the claims stem from a "disturbing series of incidents in which Jane Doe was essentially held captive and used for sex and free labor by Mr. Glover under false pretenses."

Speaking to TMZ, a representative for Glover denied the allegations, which were described as “baseless”.

In the legal filing, Jane Doe is described as a British model who alleges that she met the Charlie’s Angels actor on social media in 2015 before making “strange advances” towards her, including encouraging her to move to Los Angeles.

She claims that they then met in person eight years later in Dresden, Germany and alleges that Glover “showed off several items of Nazi memorabilia from his collection.”

Jane Doe then claims that she was “groomed” by Glover, who had made “promises of a new life where she could start over and have a career in the entertainment industry through some sort of business relationship with him.” He also allegedly promised her a home and job if she moved to the US from the UK and worked as his assistant in 2024.

After arriving in LA, Jane Doe said that she found herself in a “disturbing situation”. Glover allegedly “wanted to control her actions and track her whereabouts and basically serve him as a live in girlfriend/sex slave”, with Doe reportedly relying “entirely on Mr. Glover’s promises for money and shelter.”

She then claimed that the actor locked her out of her home after she told him she was leaving to visit a mosque. Jane Doe said she returned home to discover that "she was locked out and that Mr. Glover wanted her to find a new place to live.”

Her allegations also include claims that Glover had allegedly assaulted her when she tried to re-enter the home to collect her belongings and cats. He reportedly “attacked her, grabbing her neck and choking her in a headlock, leaving a visible wound and scar on her neck.”

Glover also allegedly filed a “false police report” against Jane Doe in which she was described as an “unlawful intruder.

Glover than reported filed a restraining order against her, with the lawsuit describing the news as going “viral” and causing “permanent damage” to her career and reputation. Doe also claimed that Glover continued to “harass” her despite filing a restraining order against her.

A representative for Glover said: “The reality is that on March 2, 2024, Mr. Glover was the victim of an unprovoked felony assault by Jane Doe at his Los Angeles residence. Mr. Glover called LAPD, which came to the scene, investigated, and arrested Jane Doe."

"These facts are documented by law enforcement records and by the restraining order filed by Mr. Glover against Jane Doe at that time."

Explaining that Jane Doe’s claims that that the restraining order was “malicious” and “fraudulent” had been “swiftly dismissed for failure to prosecute”, the rep added: "Mr. Glover intends to vigorously defend himself and pursue all available relief. He is confident the judicial process will expose this lawsuit as a meritless fabrication."
