When is Thanksgiving 2025: Is it always on a Thursday, will Taylor Swift attend Travis Kelce’s away match?
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will be spending their first Thanksgiving as an engaged couple.
In November 2024, Taylor Swift hosted her then boyfriend Travis Kelce and his family at her home in Nashville for their first Thanksgiving together as a couple. The Thanksgiving celebrations also included Travis’s brother Jason and wife Kylie.
The following day, along with Travis’s mother Donna and Taylor’s father Scott, she supported Travis Kelce when his team Kansas City Chiefs played the Las Vegas Raiders. In August of this year, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce shared the news of their engagement through a joint post on Instagram.
The caption for the couple’s engagement read: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨.” For their engagement photos, Taylor Swift wore a Polo Ralph Lauren Silk-Blend Dress, £385, and also wore a Cartier Santos Demoiselle Gold Diamond watch that had also been spotted when she appeared on Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast.
This Thanksgiving 2025, Travis Kelce’s team Kansas City Chiefs will be taking on the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. During the 2023 and 2024 NFL seasons, Taylor Swift was a regular at Travis Kelce’s home games and also was at his home game against the Washington Commanders in October of this year.
However, this season Taylor Swift has kept a lower profile when it comes to her NFL appearances. In April 2025 US Weekly reported that “One source tells Us Weekly that Swift and Kelce wanted to live a more “normal life” after the hoopla of the Eras Tour and the Super Bowl.
“A second agrees the couple “needed time for themselves,” adding, “Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love. They’re just taking a break from the public eye.”
Travis Kelce also has a home game on Christmas day, but even if Taylor Swift does not attend his Thanksgiving away game nor his home game on Christmas, they are likely to be spending as much of the holidays together as possible.
When is Thanksgiving 2025, is it always on a Thursday?
