Hide AdThe true story was based on the Gilbreth family and the book that Frank Bunker Gilbreth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey had written about their lives as a family of 14.
It followed as the parents used humorous methods to raise and look after their 12 children.
In 2003, a second movie with the same name and story line was released.
This time, the film was about the Baker family. The father of the Baker family, Tom, had to look after the 12 children whilst his wife was working away.

Now, in 2022, a fourth version of the movie is due to be released - also set around the Bakers.
However, the family and story line is slightly different - Zoey and Paul Baker get married and want to merge their households into one.
Meaning the couple now have 10 children, and pets, living under one roof - all whilst trying to run a family business.
