What is it about?

Dark Desire follows Ama, a married law professor who spends a weekend away from home – a weekend that ignites passion but ends in tragedy.

The second season will pick up on the cliffhanger to the first – is Brenda still alive? – while also delving deeper into the complicated and dangerous love triangle between Alma, Dario, and his brother Esteban.

Who is in the cast of Dark Desire?

The Spanish-language drama stars a number of popular Mexican actors.

Maite Perroni reprises her role as Alma Solares. She’s best known as a member of the pop group RBD, and for her previous role in the telenovela Rebelde.

Erik Hayser, best known for appearing in the Mexican political drama Ingobernable, returns as Esteban, and Alejandro Speitzer (Someone Has to Die) reprises his role as Dario.

New actors joining the cast for Season 2 include Catherine Siachoque (Te voy a enseñar a querer) as Lys Antoine, Ariana Saavedra (Control Z) as Julieta Lazcano, and Arturo Barba (Señora Acero) in an as yet undisclosed role.
