Alex Moreland is the television critic at NationalWorld. He writes reviews, features, and opinion pieces about everything from watercooler moments to word of mouth hits, as well as interviewing some of the biggest names from the small screen. Each week, Alex curates the popular What to Watch newsletter, drawing together the best of NationalWorld's Arts & Entertainment coverage, and co-presents NationalWorld’s flagship television podcast Screen Babble. He hosts the monthly On the Box preview show, which highlights the best upcoming releases on linear television and streaming services that everyone should have on their radar, and maintains the @NationalWorldTV twitter account. He also attends red carpet premieres on behalf of NationalWorld, where he’s always the most glamorous of all the attendees (probably). Prior to joining NationalWorld in 2021, Alex wrote regularly for Radio Times, Digital Spy, Yahoo UK, Metro Online, and Flickering Myth, specialising in features and interviews.
