Who is Machine Gun Kelly?

American rapper and musician MGK, real name Colson Baker, was born in Houston, Texas, in 1990.

Colson is signed to Bag Boy Records, who also represent Notorious B.I.G and French Montana. He has scored a number of BillBoard 100 top 10 tracks, as well as featuring in films such as Bird Box (2018) and portrayed drummer Tommy Lee in The Dirt, a 2019 Netflix drama about Mötley Crüe.

Despite being influenced by Eminem’s rap style, he has been a longstanding feud between the two rappers, as MGK reportedly referred to Eminem’s 16-year-old daughter as “hot as f**k’ back in 2012.

The latest on the rift between the two was back in January 2020, when Eminem released the song "Unaccommodating", which featured a verse directed at Baker.

Baker retaliated the following March, with his song "Bullets with Names", featuring Young Thug, RJMrLA and Lil Duke, including a verse directed at Eminem.

MGK has one child, a daughter born in 2009 named Casie Colson Baker, who’s mother is not in the limelight. He has since dated model and television presenter Amber Rose and model Sommer Rose.

How did Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox meet?

In March 2020, weeks before the world went into lockdown, MGK met Fox on the set of indie thriller, Midnight In The Switchgrass.

A few months later, their relationship appeared to go public for the first time when she featured in his track ‘Blood Valentine’.

"I knew, I could feel that some wild s*** was going to happen to me from that meeting, but I wasn’t yet sure what," she told the Give Them La La...with Randall podcast, "I just felt it like, deep in my soul that something was going to come from that."

What happened at the MTV VMAs with McGregor?

On 12 September, MGK and Fox were on the red carpet at the MTV VMAs in Brooklyn, New York.

Also at the awards ceremony was Kourtney Kardashian and her man, Travis Barker, as well as MMA superstar Conor McGregor and his partner Dee Devlin.

According to reports, McGregor asked for a photo with MGK and the rapper declined. McGregor didn’t take kindly to the rejection and became visibly annoyed about the situation.

MGK, dressed in a sparkly red suit, shoved McGregor, dressed in a bright pink suit, and he spilled his drink.

McGregor then threw the rest of his drink in the direction of MGK, who was standing with Fox.

Fox got in between the two and attempted to split the brawl up, security from the event then stepped in to break up the altercation before a fight broke out.

McGregor is currently walking with a cane, as he recovers from a broken tibia which happened during his 10 July fight with Dustin Poirier. The cane was taken from his by security during the back-and-forth, but later given back to him.

After the altercation, McGregor told Entertainment Weekly: “Absolutely nothing happened. I don’t know. He showed up, and I don’t know. I don’t know the guy.

“Nothing happened with me, I only fight real fighters, people that actually fight, you know what I mean? I certainly don’t fight little vanilla boy rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s with Megan Fox.”

The MMA fighter’s representatives also denied that he had asked for a photo with MGK.

Despite the argument, MGK performed during the event with Blink-182’s Travis Barker.

Has MGK responded to speculation about the bust up?

MGK has made no comments about the altercation.
