Wedding bells might be the next instrumentation you could hear on Adele’s next album, as they certainly are ringing for her currently. The British singer has reportedly gotten engaged to her partner, Rich Paul, with a wedding planned for this summer; could this be one of the reasons for Adele turning down the offer to perform at King Charles III’s coronation in May?
The speculation arose after internet tea-spiller Deux Moi highlighted an image from Adele’s most recent Las Vegas performance and her sporting a large diamond ring on her wedding finger. A source then broke the news to the gossip site then went on to state “Blind Item REVEALED: Adele and Rich Paul are engaged. Per my very reliable sources, I can confirm that yes, Adele and Rich Paul are planning a summer wedding!”

Hide AdSeveral media outlets, including OK! Magazine, have reached out to representatives for the pair, but have yet to get a response regarding the rumours. But given how close the couple has looked throughout the start of the year, including PDAs at the 2023 Grammy Awards and a sighting of the pair cheering on Rihanna during her Super Bowl Halftime show has only stoked the fires of a potential big summer celebrity wedding.
Though the diamond ring is not a new development, its position on Adele’s hand has led internet sleuths to look into the deeper meanings behind the shift and if it is a hint as to the future of Adele and Paul’s relationship. Or it could be just a coincidence, but there have been a few occasions before this latest piece of gossip that led people to conclude the pair will get married.
During her Las Vegas residency in December, Adele performed Happy Birthday to him during her set and quipped “and I love him more than life itself, so can we wish him a happy birthday? His name’s Rich!” She mentioned Rich again during a show when she joked that he was ‘livid’ after a fan tried to give her his phone number during a concert.
It’s another time-will-tell scenario when it comes to the love-life gossip of Adele, but what we do know is that her possibly, soon-to-be newlywed other half is not the kind of personality coasting on the success of Adele - as PeopleWorld found out.

Hide AdWho is Rich Paul?
Rich Paul is an American sports agent based in Cleveland, Ohio. He founded Klutch Sports Group which represents several prominent NBA players. Paul was named by Forbes as one of the world’s most powerful sports agents. His biggest client to date is basketball great Lebron James, who also happened to be Paul’s first client.
Such has been the endearing, almost Jerry Maguire approach to his stable of clients that James put a great deal of creative and monetary faith into Paul when the pair founded Klutch Sports Group in 2012 and since have gone on to represent illustrious names in the NBA and NFL including Lonzo Ball, Jusuf Nurkic and NFL player Quinnen Williams.
Paul has been in a relationship with Adele since 2021 but has three children from a previous relationship. “As a young dad, growing a business, it was pretty tough," he told E! News in 2022, "But now, looking as an older dad, if I was to have more kids, I’m looking forward to being a different dad. Oftentimes, as you’re building a business, you’re on the go, you’re moving around, the kids grow up fast in a blink of an eye. Next thing, you know, they’re walking, and they’re riding the bike, running and flipping around, and that’s the problem."
How much is Rich Paul worth?
Despite having earned his clients almost $1 billion USD in deals, Paul’s net worth isn’t quite to that size. In 2022, it was estimated that Rich Paul was worth $120 million USD (just over £100 million), $100 million USD short of Adele’s net worth estimated in 2022 but definitely not a huge difference compared to other celebrity couples.
