What’s the weather going to be like at The Cambridge Club Festival 2024 this weekend, and is it a good idea to stock up on hayfever pills?

The UK summer festival season continues this weekend, with events taking place in Manchester and Cambourne as the run-up to Glastonbury Festival 2024 and Leeds and Reading 2024 continues.

This weekend though, residents around the Childerley Orchard are expecting a flock of festival revellers to make their way to this year’s Cambridge Club Festival, with this year’s headliners including Chaka Khan, Jessie Ware and Earth, Wind and Fire Experience

The eclectic lineup seems to be playing to those music fans, including myself, of a certain age, with Soul II Soul, Gabrielle and Spice Girl Melanie C also on the bill, while Denise Van Outen is set to perform a DJ set for campers only during the festival.

So if you’ve gotten your tickets already, what can and can’t you bring, for those who scan the lineup for this year’s event and fancy a punt on one of the UK’s smaller festivals, are tickets still available?

We think it’s safe to say also that a look at how bad our hayfever might be around Childerley Orchard might prove beneficial also. So NationalWorld Music has taken a look at some of the essential information ahead of this weekend’s Cambridge Club Festival 2024.

Who is performing at The Cambridge Club Festival 2024?

What’s the weather forecast and pollen count for The Cambridge Club Festival 2024?

Weather Forecast

According to the Met Office, Friday will see sunny intervals, changing to cloudy by late morning, with a high of 17 and a low of 10. That forecast is the same for Saturday, dropping to a low of 7 though in the evening, while Sunday remains in the 17s in terms of temperature, with a sunny start followed once again by clouds.

Pollen Count Forecast

Stock up on hayfever pills; it’s not going to be pleasant.

The Met Office has reported that across all three days, the pollen levels around the orchard and most of the East of England will be high, owing to the dry weather. The meteorological agency has stated that grass pollen will rise in warm, dry weather. Nettle, dock & plantain too

Are there tickets still available for The Cambridge Club Festival 2024?

If the pollen count hasn’t put you off attending The Cambridge Club Festival, then there are indeed tickets still available for this weekend’s event, both camping and day tickets.

Those wishing to camp can check out the options at The Cambridge Club Festival website, or for those looking for day tickets, you can visit Ticketmaster instead.
