Camp Bestival has confirmed it is returning to Lulworth Castle on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast in 2022, as well as announcing a twin festival for this year’s edition.

For the first time in its 20+ year history, Camp Bestival will take place across two locations, much like the Reading and Leeds festivals do.

Alongside its usual Dorset home, Camp Bestival will also be operating in Shropshire’s Weston Park, once the site of the now defunct V Festival.

Here is everything you need to know about it.

When is Camp Bestival?

Camp Bestival has confirmed it is returning to its usual home of Lulworth Castle from Thursday 28 July to Sunday 31 July 2022.

While Camp Bestival is hosting a second, twin festival, it won’t be taking place on the same weekend.

The dates of the Weston Park festival are Thursday 18 August to Sunday 21 August 2022.

The festival line-ups across the two weeks vary slightly, though retain many of the same acts.

In Dorset, topping the weekend’s musical bill are baritone troubadour Rag'n'Bone Man, sub bass surfers Rudimental, and a disco triumvirate featuring Sister Sledge, Kool and The Gang, and the Earth, Wind & Fire Experience featuring Al McKay.

There’s even more music, including Razorlight, Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Kitchen Disco, Example, Shed Seven, Jo Whiley's 90s Anthems, Faithless (DJ Set), The Proclaimers, and Charlotte Church's Late Night Pop Dungeon.

In Shropshire, Fatboy Slim heads up the myriad musical treats that also include Rag'n'Bone Man and chic chanteuse Becky Hill as headliners.
