Aldi has unveiled its much-anticipated 2026 Christmas advert, bringing back fan favourite Kevin the Carrot for the 10th year.

Aldi has officially released its Christmas advert for 2026, and shoppers are already declaring it the best festive adverts of the year.

The supermarket has brought back its much-loved Kevin the Carrot for another festive adventure, but this time there's a mystery to solve after a member of the family goes missing.

The new advert has clearly struck a chord with viewers, with shoppers taking to the official Aldi YouTube, where the advert is currently being broadcast, to share their praise for the supermarket's latest festive offering.

One viewer wrote: "Well done Aldi ! You've restored my faith ... all is not lost ... love Kevin and family!"

And it seems Kevin, who first appeared on Aldi’s Christmas advert in 2016, has become something of a festive tradition for many families, with one shopper saying: "Can’t beat the Kevin the carrot adverts at Aldi now, they are a classic at Christmas."

A third viewer added: "Aldi - the best Christmas ads, and of course it’s subjective, but we all love Kevin the Carot and family here. Well done Aldi".

Others were already proclaiming Aldi had won the contest for the best Christmas ad, with one person declaring: "ALDI, you have won this year's Christmas video award." Another was equally impressed, commenting: "The best Christmas advert well done Aldi".

This year's advert, which has the slogan ‘All You Want For Christmas’, sees Kevin the Carrot return alongside his daughter Chantenay, but the family faces a festive crisis when their beloved pet, Cauli Dog, disappears.

After Chantenay wishes for Cauli Dog to come home, the pair set off on a mission to find him, putting up missing posters and following a trail of tiny paw prints in the snow.

Their search takes them on an adventure filled with unexpected encounters, including a rather unhelpful scarecrow and what initially appears to be a frightening bear.

However, the mystery eventually leads them back home, where they discover Cauli Dog fast asleep inside a Christmas cracker. The family is reunited just in time for Christmas, which is just what Chantenay wished for.

You can watch the advert for yourself below:

You may have spotted a number in the advert, on Cauli Dog’s missing poster. The poster, which describes the family pet as "friendly, but nervous around cheese”, asks anyone who spots him to contact Kevin the Carrot on 0333 577 5577.

Here at NationalWorld we gave the number a call and heard a voicemail from Kevin, who explains he's unable to answer because he's too busy searching for Cauli. He can also be heard calling out for the beloved pooch.

But, there is good news on official Aldi Facebook page for those who have fallen in love with Cauli Dog and would like their very own. One person commented: “Can we buy cauli dog in Aldi by any chance he’s lush”. Aldi replied: “Keep your eyes peeled”.

Kevin the Carrot first appeared in Aldi's Christmas advertising back in 2016 and has since become one of the most recognisable festive characters. Over the years, shoppers have followed his adventures, relationships and growing family, with his annual return now seemingly an important part of Christmas viewing.

With the release of its 2026 Christmas advert, Aldi is following in the footsteps of fellow supermarket giant Tesco, who released their ad earlier this week.

Aldi will air on UK television on Channel 4 for the first time at 8pm tonight (Thursday November 5), before the launch of the third season of Aldi: The Next Big Seller, which sees independent food producers pitch their creations for a chance to see them on Aldi shelves.
