Glastonbury Festival 2024: Who could the special guests on the Woodsies stage be as set times announced?
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
The full list of stage and set times for this year’s Glastonbury Festival held once again at Worthy Farm from June 25 2024, has now been released and in true Glastonbury fashion, there’s a bit of a mystery afoot.

Hide AdEagle-eyed festival goers will have spotted a glaring space on the former John Peel Stage, with a “secret set” the only information provided for Saturday’s 6pm slot on the Woodies stage. While many are already arranging what sets are set to clash with others, others are now furiously pouring through tour dates to predict who the secret act may be.
The tradition of a “secret set” is nothing new at music festivals, with last year’s inclusion of “The Chrurn Ups” perhaps the worst-kept secret at Glastonbury when Foo Fighters turned out to be the band performing under that pseudonym.
Many a long-standing festival goer will also regale you with tales of secret sets being rumoured while on campsites up and down the country; you can imagine my disappointment Limp Bizkit did not play the Snickers half-pipe at Leeds Festival 2002 at midnight.

Hide AdSo who are people speculating are the secret guests set to play the Woodsies stage at Glastonbury Festival 2024?
Who could the special guests on the Woodsies stage be?
While we’d be more than happy to share our speculation about who it could be, we’ve turned to social media, including Reddit, to see who the main contenders for this secret set could be.
One of the big theories is based around Jarvis Cocker, who has been billed as performing at 1pm on Friday afternoon, prompting thoughts that Pulp might fill that space as a throwback to their celebrated headline performance at Glastonbury 1995 as last-minute replacements for The Stone Roses.

Hide AdOthers have suggested that Kings of Leon, who are currently embarking on a European tour, might pull a “Churn Ups” and take time away from their touring schedule to make a one-off appearance; they’re scheduled for a performance in Bristol on June 23 2024, so they could make a slight detour.
Other rumours range from Kasabian making a festival appearance through to The Smile, the side project of Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood, which would also pay tribute to the pair’s exploits under the Radiohead banner at Glastonbury Festivals of yesteryear.
